Due to some recent activity on our website we have had to change some of the settings, delete some posts, and delete some user profiles. All new users will now have to be approved by an administrator. This should happen within two days of a request.
If, due to these changes, we have accidentally deleted one of your posts or your user profile I offer my sincerest apologies. We should now be able to restrict website activity to authentic posts and genuine interest.
I am saddened that you are obviously a person with serious troubles.
A person much wiser than me once said that in the face of false beliefs it
is "better to turn the other cheek"
Good luck and God Bless

From this project has come a deep interest in circumpolar law and related treaty matters in both David and I. I have been looking at some language courses. If the spirit of international cooperation can be maintained as was evident in our project it bodes well for the future. We must all proceed in a prudent and principled manner.
I cannot say how much I enjoyed working with David and the project. but I also know it is just the beginning.
Cheers
Chris Watkins
Hi Everybody,
You will be happy to find we have uploaded some new videos under the multimedia section. They include footage from the North Pole.
Enjoy!! Thanks for all your support!!
Darren
Some of the top and toughest world Polar Explorers met in Longyearbyen Norway and gave David, Chris and Team Independence a coveted award. The twisted spike driven into the heart of a white marble base is etched with a compass and the words "North Pole". It is given to just a few. It was conveyed that the award was given because of the unique nature of the expedtion and the challenges faced.
We miss everyone and look forward to coming home. We are still healing up. We could not have accomplished this without community support from volunteers and sponsors. At every turn people were prepared to help including a member of the Lakehead Search and Rescue and several members of the Thunder Bay Police Department. The same evolved department Chris's grandfather and great grandfather were once the Police Chiefs. Thank you Thunder Bay.

David and Chris would like to thank Victor, Robert Russel and all the other amazing people in the Borneo operation without your help this simply would not have been possible. Also, every other expedition we came into contact with were prepared to assist in any way possible. When people work together there is nothing that cannot be accomplished. It was great meeting you all. Until we meet again.
David and Chris
We sincerely want to say thank you to all the people who supported us and who followed us throughout this wonderful project. We feel that it has been life changing and hope that it contributes to bettering the lives of many people in our communities.
